Mike designed a deck that actually fits how we live. He talked us out of the giant deck we thought we wanted and into one with a pergola, a built-in bench and lighting on the stairs. Our backyard is now the best room in the house. Permit was approved in four days.

We wanted the black board-and-batten look for our new build in Golden and two other siding companies told us it couldn't be done in LP. Danny showed up with samples, explained the rainscreen we'd need for the wind up here, and the house is now the one people slow down to look at.

We built a garage with an ADU above in Cole and Platte River handled literally everything: zoning check, drawings, permit, foundation, framing, siding, all the trades, and the CO. Tyler at the permit desk knew every reviewer by name. We had a tenant moved in five months after the first phone call.

Forty lots into our Thornton community and they have not missed a single truss-set date. The weekly cycle-time report is something no other framer has ever offered us. Our superintendent says it's the first time in his career he's not chasing the framer.

Cedar siding on a mountain house is not a job for just anyone. Carlos's crew installed every board over a rainscreen with stainless fasteners and detailed the eaves for wildfire code. Three winters later, not a single cupped board. Worth every penny of the premium.

Basement finish with two egress windows. They cut the foundation, framed everything with a capillary break I'd never heard of, and coordinated all the trades. The line-item estimate from Priya matched the final invoice to the dollar, which I honestly did not think was possible with a contractor.

Covered patio with an outdoor kitchen, tied into our existing roof so it looks original. The gas line, electrical and concrete were all their partners and all showed up on the days they said. We've basically lived outside since June.

Full Hardie re-side on our 1990s two-story. Eight days, start to finish, and they found and fixed rot around two windows that the previous owner's "inspector" had missed. The navy with white trim and shake gables gets compliments weekly.

Bump-out addition for a primary suite. The tie-in to the old roof is invisible, inside and out. What impressed me most was the temporary weather protection: it rained twice during framing and not a drop got into the house.

Steel siding after our third hail claim in six years. Danny was honest that it costs more than Hardie and that it can dent from a direct hit, but that we'd likely never file another siding claim. Two storms later, he was right.

Four stars only because the lumber delivery was two days late (not their fault, but it pushed us). Everything else was excellent: the vaulted ceiling conversion is stunning, the engineer's drawings were clear, and Alicia adjusted the schedule so we still finished on the original date.

Rooftop deck on our RiNo townhome. Structural engineering, waterproofing, permit through Denver, and the deck itself. Mike's crew worked around our HOA's hours without complaint and the view of the skyline from up there is unreal.
